Boards

Boards are .kanban files. A board holds columns and tasks. It does not count as one of the 10 notes.

Nexum Lite

1 board

One board stays open. Another board copied onto disk is kept and locked.

Nexum Pro

Every board

Every board opens. Creating, copying, and importing boards are not counted.

Columns, tickets, and the inspector. On the board Lite has open, those controls work without a separate cap.

How Lite counts

  • Creating a second board from inside Nexum shows the edition window, and the file is not created.
  • A board copied in from outside, or duplicated on disk, is kept. Nexum detects it, leaves the file in place, and locks it in the File Explorer. Opening the locked board shows the edition window.
  • The board that was already in the workspace keeps the open slot. A later copy cannot take that slot by arriving with an older name or date.
  • Deleting the open board frees the slot for the next board.

What stays the same

On the board Lite has open, columns, filters, zoom, density, priorities, and board settings work without a cap. Those controls are described in Columns and settings. Tasks on that board have their own limit, described in Tasks on a board.
